Chris Jeffrey Acupuncture - Ubuntu Community Acupuncture

About Chris

Chris grew up on the North Shore, spending time at Lynn Canyon and on the local mountains.  It is no surprise that after traveling and living in different parts of the world, she decided to return to North Vancouver to raise her own children.

She began studying Naturopathy at the Australian Institute of Holistic Medicine in Perth, Australia. Through this Chris developed a passionate interest in Iridology and Nutrition, which she still uses with many of her patients today. She became a Registered Acupuncturist with PCU College of Holistic Medicine and has post-graduate training in a variety of conditions including Sports Medicine Acupuncture, Pain Management and Addiction, Insomnia and Anxiety Management, Infertility and Auricular (ear) Acupuncture.  Chris also incorporates Esoteric Acupuncture, Trigger Point Injection Therapy and Cosmetic Acupuncture into her practice.

Chris is a volunteer Acupuncturist at the North Shore Women's Center and at the Mt. Kilimanjaro Grouse Grind for Alzheimer’s (MKGG) 2014 Fundraiser. She is also the co-founder of The Kindness Project, a community based not for profit organization, whose mission is to bring individuals, families, businesses, schools, health care and more together to work for the betterment of our community.

More recently, Chris co-founded the program Weed It, Seed It, Feed It, a stress and anxiety program designed for teenagers and adults.
